Ages 8-12 weeks – Introduction to basic life skills and socialization.

Handling should start from birth to help pups become acclimated to things around them. Once they are weaned with their first set of shots puppies can start being exposed, in a positive or neutral way in a class setting, to as many things as possible that they might come into contact with at some time in their life. This includes objects, sounds, and other animals. It also includes acclimating them to cooperative care handling techniques and Fear Free® visits to the veterinary office so your pets know what to expect rather than surprising or startling them later.

In Puppy Foundations you will have 6 training sessions covering:
The Name Game
Sit
Down
Hand Target
Recall
Loose Leash Walking
Stay
Go to a Mat
